Houston (NSA Hub)
A hub in the center of North America’s energy capital
Houston is famous for its food, rodeo and year long summer, but also for its Oil & Gas industry, a fluctuating powerhouse of US job creation and financial growth.
The city’s economy has a wide industrial base and a thriving healthcare sector. It has more Fortune 500 headquarters within its city limits than any city outside New York. It is also home to one of the USA’s largest international ports, and the headquarters of NASA, America’s space agency.
Its intercontinental airport and central location make it a key travel hub both internally and internationally. Houston’s business community is mostly divided between the downtown business district, the Galleria area surrounding the huge mall a few miles out from downtown and the Energy Corridor, a hive of Oil & Gas activity, some ten miles to the west between Houston and neighboring Katy, a popular commuter city.
Competentia’s office is located between the Galleria area and the Energy corridor, just a twenty minute drive from Downtown Houston. Close to the junctions of I-10, Beltway 8 and US 290, the office is easily reachable from most local business and residential areas.
