Your wellbeing is our top priority. Because the COVID-19 outbreak is rapidly evolving we have assigned our Coronavirus Task Force who are working behind the scenes for your benefit. Below is some information we wanted to ensure you were aware of.

What are symptoms of COVID-19?
The WHO advise that the most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, tiredness, and dry cough. Some patients may have aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat or diarrhea. These symptoms are usually mild and begin gradually. Some people become infected but don’t develop any symptoms and don’t feel unwell.

Advice on how to stay safe from the WHO
The WHO provides the following guidance basic protective measures against COVID-19

  • Wash your hands – Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
  • Maintain social distancing – Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth – Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth

Should I be prepared to work from home?
As a general advice we would urge all our contractors to consider alternative ways to continue working if you are unable to work from your normal work location due to COVID-19.
