Do your homework, be knowledgeable, show an interest and be genuine. Jeanne Farias
We’re proud to support WISE
This month: Find out why we’re supporting this new initiative.
This year, some of our staff got involved in a group working to address a critical industry issue.
WISE (Women in Staffing and Employment) is working to support women in the sector, providing a solution to one of the key difficulties faced by women in the early stages of their careers in staffing and HR – a lack of female mentors.
After running a survey that showed over 50% of members had struggled with an absence of mentors, the team set about creating a mentoring program to start offering practical support.
Jeanne Farias, is the latest mentor to sign up to the program. This week in the WISE blog she talks about her career, and her experiences of being a woman in male dominated environments.
Today, you can read an interview with Jeanne, and find out how you can sign up to become a mentor.
We’re proud of everyone involved and we strongly encourage you to help if you can.
