Quality Professional - BMS coordinator

The Quality Professional – Business Management System (BMS) coordinator is a role that supports all process areas in Aker BP. The Quality Professional - BMS coordinator is part of the BMS team in the Quality & Lean department and reports to BMS manager.

The main purpose of the role is to support the relevant process area owner to make sure that their process area in the BMS always is up to speed with changes/improvements that influences the work processes in BMS. The Quality Professional – BMS coordinator will be physically located together with the relevant department to facilitate a constant sharing of knowledge and skills between the BMS team and the different departments.


Key responsibilities and main tasks

  • Assigned role as BMS coordinator for the process area owners for Access and acreage, Exploration, Reservoir Development and D&W

  • Support process area owner/work process owner/process coordinator with continuous improvement of all relevant BMS processes

  • Contribute to processes and governing documents being complementary and that non-conformities between the two are managed

  • Monitor and follow-up governing documents review status

Qualification requirements

Qualifications & Personal characteristics

  • Relevant competence and experience with process based business management system and governing documentation is required

  • Knowledge and experience with Access and acreage, Exploration, Reservoir Development and D&W is an advantage

  • E&P knowledge and experience

  • Strong team player, seeking collaboration with focus on what is best for business

  • Good relational skills

  • Diligent and a strong ability to follow through on agreed actions

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail

  • Curious, pro-active attitude and continuous strive for achieving improvements

  • Autonomous and self-motivated

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
