Digital Marketing Specialist – Talent Acquisition


Location: Houston, TX (Downtown)

Duration: 12 months (renewable)

Basic Function

We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist who will work in the advertising/events group in Staffing Services to coordinate the tactical execution of digital marketing projects, developing content for web/digital channels and other day-to-day activities as needed to enhance Company’s employment brand.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of digital recruitment marketing and employment branding within the Talent Acquisition function in partnership with Public Affairs/Corporate Communications
  • Act as primary point of contact on recruitment and employment branding initiatives associated with promoting company’s full lifecycle, end-to-end expatriate recruiting processes
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on external recruitment marketing plan development to attract experienced talent
  • Develop, implement, and manage social media/recruiting campaigns, targeting specific hard-to-find talent pipelines
  • Monitor success of recruiting campaigns – including defining and reporting on key KPIs to stakeholders; provide analytics reporting to track ROI on ad spend/SEM and monitor efficacy of the organization’s talent acquisition practices
  • Create and manage various streams of content for career websites and social media channels
  • Develop marketing collateral, email campaigns, recruitment advertising for web and print
  • Oversee implementation of various web/digital initiatives as needed
  • Stay on top of the latest trends and best practices in digital recruitment and researching and compile competitive benchmarking as needed

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication(s), Human Resources or closely related field
  • Five (5) years in a recruiting/employment branding role with an emphasis on digital media marketing
  • Thorough knowledge of end-to-end recruitment lifecycle; including previous experience either in a recruiting or sourcing role
  • Experience managing advertising spend – including budget planning and collaboration with external marketing agencies
  • Proficient in reporting and analytics, including tracking traffic and providing statistical analysis. Experience with Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Experience with email marketing tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Experience with Avature CRM is a plus.
  • Experience with providing recruiting brand leadership to ensure consistency with all produced content and materials
  • Experience with conducting research into jobseeker insights, and overseeing the messaging and positioning of career opportunities
  • Experience with Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization campaigns.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital recruiting platforms such as Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS). Experience with Sitefinity/Sitecore is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with an emphasis on producing PowerPoint presentations
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills – excellent influencer
  • Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette
