One of our clients on the operator side is looking for Operation Engineer
Job Purpose
Prepare well production strategy / priorities, short term forecasts in cooperation with production operations. Responsible for allocation of field production / injection to wells.
Define long term plans to optimise production and increase recovery from the license. Mitigate production challenges related to the wells.
To assist the Production Budgeting & Accounting Team with technical expertise in production engineering in order to ensure the company production history and forecast is reported according to company standards.
Follow up the license. Give relevant information to the asset team within Eni Norge. Promote Eni Norge's interests as share holder and make best attempts to fulfil Company’s goals and objectives.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibility
To be responsible for the daily interphase Eni, as field operator of Marulk, need to have with Gassco (operator of Gassled), including all communication to/from Gassco.
Responsible for the lifting account on Marulk, including reporting to partners/authorities.
Responsible for Production Optimization studies / evaluations and the well production / injection database.
Communicate and understand development strategies and design concepts to the operations department.
Ensure application of the petroleum/production engineering "Best practices".
Contribute to ensure that HSEQ and production targets are met.
Main Tasks
Production prognosis, availabilities, lifting keys and production reports to Gassco.
Treatment and actions required from the delivery instructions and reports from Gassco.
Evaluate and optimise well deliverability. Identifying and propose well interventions for producers and injectors. De-bottlenecking of production plant.
Support with production forecasts and production results.

Formal Education
MS Petroleum/Production/Process or equivalent
Training/Courses/ Certificate
- Asset & plant integrity basic course
- Oil & Gas surface production facilities course
- Offshore survival course
- HSE formal certificates
- Petroleum/Production/Process engineering basic course
Languages
Excellent knowledge of written and oral Norwegian
Fluid knowledge of English
Required Experience
- 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- at least 5 years of experience in production operations and maintenance activities
Required knowledge, technical or professional skills
Production operations activities
Production test design and analysis.
Flow assurance
Experienced with Software tools: PI, AVOCET, Prosper, Hysys, OFM, PDMS.
Experience with integrated operations and collaborative environment will be appreciated.
