The Engineer Subsea will work within the technical department and will provide subsea facility support to the field operating organization. He/she will provide support to the subsea team to ensure that operations and maintenance procedures are developed and equipment/tools are available to enable maintenance and intervention when required. Due to the relatively small size of the organization, he/she will corporate closely under the management of the Leader Subsea and will have to be able to take initiative and work collaboratively within a small experienced team. The Engineer Subsea will report to the Leader Subsea. The position will interact closely with the all disciplines within the technical department, the Subsurface, Operation and Well & Drilling departments.
Responsibilities:
- Operational subsea engineering support
- Follow up of the development of Condition Performance Monitoring (CPM), including participating in CPM training activities
- Facilities surveillance activities, including daily Condition Performance Monitoring (CPM)
- Maintenance event handling in the companys Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Develop/review of Work Package, Work Orders and Purchase Order requisitions
- Providing subsea installation troubleshooting
- Answering technical inquiries, making technical recommendations
- Follow up the Subsea operation activities, ie, replacement of Subsea equipment and Inspection of the fields Sealines, Subsea Production System (SPS), Risers, hull, Moorings, etc
- Plan, schedule and coordinate the execution of well commissioning
- Engineering support during planned unit turnarounds
- Maintaining subsea systems operational and maintenance procedures
- Follow up subsea maintenance contractor and maintenance activities
- When required, function as Company/technical representative for selected service contracts
- When required trips to be made to the field and vessels for the subsea operations
- Prioritize work depending on the urgency of job requests; final decisions on delivery schedules.
Formal qualifications, skills and experience requirements:
- 5 years broad experience from petroleum industry operations and development3 + years experience in subsea facilities operations /Subsea Production Systems /marine operations
- University degree in relevant engineering science
- Working knowledge of Authority requirements
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English and Norwegian
