One of our clients on the operator side is looking for a Senior Subsea Engineer.


Job Purpose

Lead, organize and coordinate technical activities related to SPS and pipeline. Assure overall technical and operational solutions during engineering and ready for operation activities. Ensure interfaces are properly addressed internally, towards the project and towards other areas/contractors. Contribute in establishing budgets and plans


Main Accountabilities

Be part of the definition of and and the execution of all the ready for operation activities within Technology and Engineering related to Subsea and Pipeline. Execute R&D activities related to Subsea and pipeline. Establish and implement all relevant processes related to Subsea and Pipeline in the client's Management System. Coordinate technical input to other areas within the client. Establish and maintain audits and verification activities. Coordinate all external interfaces. Assure good coordination between the technical competence units and hereby assure technical performance, quality assurance and approval of technical solutions


Main tasks

Contributing in assuring that at all times it exists reliable schedules and budgets for ongoing and outstanding activities as part of T&E. Participate in contractual work, evaluations and tendering for D&T/T&E contracts.  Contribute with input to T&E uncertainty and risk matrix and define mitigating actions within responsible area.  Assure that the Company HMS requirements are addressed internally and externally. Assure coordination between relevant technical sections in the client. related to quality assurance of internal and external work related to chosen solutions. Assure relevant experience transfer from internal and external sources. Assure compliance with authority requirements and contribute to a good and professional relationship to relevant authorities and stake holders. Contribute to operational strategies and ready for operation activities. Assure the work is performed according to the Project's goals and ethics. Contribute to a good working environment, motivate, inspire and develop the co-workers

Formal Education

Minimum Bachelor of Science within Engineering  or equivalent (Mechanical/Automation/Electrical). Relevant experience can replace lack of formal education.


Languages

Fluent in spoken and written in English and/or Norwegian


Experience

7 years of relevant experiance

Technical knowledge of subsea production
IT Hardware Architecture (Generic)
Engineering knowledge in the specialist activity
Supports and technologies: Technical requirement and Standards
Compliance: Local/National and International Standard and Codes, Tender procedure
Plant Design: Process/Utility/Electrical Control and Safety System Design
Construction & Installation: Plant construction, Control system knowledge, Inspection, control and testing techniques
Production System Design : Life cycle design
