Competentia expands technology staffing footprint with new office in Austin
We’re open in another new market…
Competentia is delighted to announce the opening of their latest US office in Austin, Texas. The move is part of a significant global expansion within its technology business division.
Founded in Norway in 1998, Competentia now has a substantial global footprint, which includes major hubs in Australia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the Americas. From its US headquarters in Houston, the business is active from the East Coast to Alaska
“It’s exciting to be bringing Competentia to Austin,” says Kara Stone, who leads the new business unit.
“Competentia has a great reputation all over the world for delivering high-touch, partnership based staffing services, and we’re looking forward to bringing this philosophy to the Austin market.”
Stone has spent the last decade in technology in Austin. She’s joined by fellow IT specialist Krystine Moss, who will focus on developing the candidate experience, in line with the organization’s commitment to offering genuinely personal service.
The office is the fourth opened in North America, alongside Calgary, Anchorage and Houston. All units are overseen by Regional President – Aaron Dowds.
“Austin is a great addition to the national team,” says Dowds.
“The city continues to grow and to bring a wide variety of technology jobs. There’s a great deal of work to do and we’re all looking forward to getting started on it. We know we’ve got the best possible team to drive it, and they have all of Competentia’s global infrastructure standing behind them.”
The office is now fully operational, and working with existing Competentia clients in the new region.
