Ian Hyde

President – APAC

Ian has been working in manpower services for the Energy Industry since 2006. He started out in the high-paced environment of manning offshore drilling units at a particularly buoyant time for the industry. This provided an excellent foundation and understanding of the necessity to ‘get it right first time’. From there, he accepted an expat position looking after the global account for a couple of large IOC’s. This role involved quite a bit of travel, allowing him to use his language skills and gave him great exposure in some of the most difficult and dangerous locations to operate in, both from a legislative and security perspective.

Since returning to Australia in 2011 to work for Competentia, Ian has held the roles of Regional Operations Manager, Manager – Major Accounts and now President of the APAC region.

Our job is to provide the very best service to our clients and our contract workforce alike, and to apply our expertise to their interests in all cases.
