Rail Signalling Project Engineer/Tester

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review project scope, technical plans, specifications, procedures, standards, codes of practice and tender documentation;
  • Prepare, organise and manage signalling testing and commissioning works;
  • Perform the role of signalling tester for testing and commissioning works;
  • Prepare project estimates and schedules;
  • Follow project management framework throughout the whole project life cycle;
  • Lead and manage projects of various sizes;
  • Liaise and manage signalling contractors;
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders;

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Solid relevant experience in railway signalling
  • Strong management and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of signalling design principles and standards
  • Solid knowledge of current trends/issues in signalling system design
  • Strong technical analysis and problem solving skills

This role is more geared to a senior sig engineer who can project manage while they are not on testing duties.

It is a bit of an allrounder role and will be keen if over East too as they have safety critical status to bring them over.

 

We are looking for an experienced Rail Signalling Project Engineer/Tester to join the Projects Team at Arc Infrastructures Perth Airport Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the role of signalling tester for testing and commissioning works;
  • Prepare project estimates and schedules;
  • Follow Arc’s project management framework throughout the whole project life cycle;
  • Lead and manage projects of various sizes;
  • Liaise and manage signalling contractors;
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders;

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
